It has been so quiet here, but two years ago it was a living community that became my partner in a life changing journey...
Two years ago today I was diagnosed with a 3.9 cm AN. Life hasn't been the same since. I went through a tough journey but today I look towards the future with such hope and promise, both of which I was very short on in those early days.
For any of you out there who are starting the journey or in the middle of a very tough and often scary one, have faith, there is so much on the other side of that experience.

Diagnosed with a 3.9cm AN December 2006, while pregnant.
Translab surgery February 2007 for then 5 cm AN, in Montreal, QC, by the VERY gifted hands of Dr. Saliba and Dr. Bojanowski at Notre Dame Hospital.
What a difference a couple of years make!!! |
