Dr. Ioana Medrea is an Assistant Professor of Medicine (Neurology) at the University of Toronto and a Clinician Investigator. She completed her medical degree at McGill University, followed by Neurology residency training at the University of Ottawa, a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology, and subspecialty fellowship training in Headache Medicine at Dartmouth College. Her clinical and academic work focuses on headache disorders, including migraine and cluster headache. Dividing her time between patient care and research enables her to translate insights from clinical practice into advancing the evidence base, ensuring that patient experiences help shape the direction of headache research and improve future care.
